Expert Talk Description:
The Department of Chemical Engineering organized an expert talk on “Oil conservation in Petroleum Refinery” on 07th February 2020. The expert talk was organized for all the pre-final and final year students. Prof. N. R. Vaghela (HOD, Chemical Engg.) have given well come speech Prof. Vaghela has also brief about the objectives of arranging expert talk on the occasion of Oil and Gas Conservation week-2020 celebration and its important aspects. After well come speech, Prof. A. M. Patel, Co-ordinator of the event has introduced speaker Shri. Sanjay Bagthariya, Manager, IOCL, Bharuch Region, Bharuch.
Shri Sanjay Bagathariya speaker of the event started the talk on Oil conservation in Petroleum Refinery. He has discussed and covered many aspect of Oil and Gas Conservation Methodologies as a part of Oil and Gas Conservation week-2020. Objective of this expert talk was to increase awareness among all the students regarding the importance of conservation of petroleum products. Petroleum products are being used by the people in many ways such as power plants, industries, fertilizer, commercial, domestic, transport sectors and so many. The demand for both petroleum products and gases is increasing day by day, which is a very necessary topic to take for future safety. As depletion rate of such resources is so fast based on current overall demand, conservation of such resources is necessary by optimum use.
The session ended with a vote of thanks by Prof. A. M. Patel, Co-ordinator of the expert talk to all student Participants and invited speaker and staff members of ChED, GEC-Bharuch for their valuable time for making the Expert talk successful.
