About Us

The Chemical Engineering Department, established in 2009, is endowed with a competitive undergraduate program, supported by state-of-art facilities, and highly qualified faculty members. The Department currently has nine faculty members who bring to the department a wealth of expertise to maintain a vibrant teaching and research environment. It has 8 laboratories with a total of more than 100 equipment and bench-scale experimental setups. Today many of our distinguished alumni are working in various private and public sector leading chemical industries.

Program Educational Objectives

  • PEO1: Solve real life engineering problem, design, and develop cost effective product showing a depth of knowledge in chemical engineering fundamentals to meet the needs of society and industry.
  • PEO2: To upgrade their professional career, higher studies, research and entrepreneurship exhibiting their global competency.
  • PEO3: Exhibit ethical values and professional behaviour, good leadership approach to relate socio-professional needs of society and industry.

Program Specific Outcomes

  • PSO 1: Graduates will have an ability to grasp and apply chemical engineering fundamentals to industrial processes considering the safety and economics.
  • PSO 2: Graduates will have an ability to develop soft-skills and leadership attitude to work in industrial and professional arena.
  • PSO 3: Graduates will have an ability to acquire new knowledge in chemical engineering for solving future challenges faced by society and industry.
