Quiz competition “Hydrosphere 22” was organized by IIChE Students’ Chapter, Chemical Engineering Department, GEC Bharuch to celebrate World Water Day on 22nd March 2022 under the banner of IIChE student’s chapter GEC Bharuch. Total 21 students participated making seven Teams. Seven teams are
Arctic: Himanshu (Leader sem 6)
North Atlantic :Nirav ( Leader sem 6)
South Atlantic:Darshan(Leader sem 6)
North pacific: Umang( Leader sem 6)
South pacific: Yash(Leader sem 6)
Indian: Mihir (Leader sem 6)
Southern ocean: Bhavin (Leader sem 4)
Three rounds were there.
- Basic round (no negative mark for wrong answer)
- Elimination round(one negative mark for wrong answer)
- Final round (Two negative mark for wrong answer).
- Dr. Deepak Deore explained the importance of water and sustainable development. He explained the Significance of effluent treatment and protection of environment in the field of Chemical Engineering.
