Shri M. N. Vyas was Ex GM (Operation and HSO) at IPCL Baroda. Shri M. N. Vyas did M.Sc. Chemical Engineering (UK) and PGD Chemical Engineering (London). He has written a book on safety and hazard management in the chemical industry which is published by ATLANTIC Publishers. He has participated in various conferences.

In the webinar, Shri. M. N. Vyas sir explained the importance of utilities and auxiliaries in Chemical Process Industries and discussed the various types of valves like globe valves, gate valves, and ball valves. He explains the pumps, gaskets, flanges, Supports, Expansion joints, Bends, Reducers, and insulation used in different process plants. He also explains the Isometric drawing in detail. In the end, he explained the Standard and special equipment with Specification data sheets and applications of utilities like air, water, steam, power, nitrogen, and heating and refrigeration in chemical plants.
